Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Libraries

Libraries have long been at the center of learning and research. Our libraries and special collections are as diverse as our programs of study, from the Pitts Theology Library to our rare books collection dating back to the 13th century. Even in the digital age, our more than 4.4 million volume library system remains a powerful resource for our faculty, staff, and students.

Danowski Poetry Library

In 2004, Raymond Danowski placed his remarkable poetry collection in Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ’s Rose Library. He assembled the 75,000-volume collection over the course of 30 years, without the benefit of a computerized database and with the goal of collecting every book of 20th-century, English-language poetry.
